• We are continuing to take every precaution to keep our patients and staff safe while still continuing to provide excellent pediatric care during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
• The City of Lake Jackson requires face masks for adults and children over the age of 10 years old.
• All staff members are wearing appropriate PPE and we have very strict cleaning procedures in place.
• We have structured our offices and appointments to provide separation of well and sick children. 
• We are now offering online appointment check-in on our website at bottenfieldpeds.com, so that patients may wait in their cars until a room is available.

Benefits of Regular Wellness Visits:

• Prevention- receive vaccines to prevent illnesses, check blood pressure and screen child's hearing and vision
• Assess growth and development- allows provider the ability to assess that child is growing appropriately for their age and is meeting appropriate developmental milestones
• Discuss concerns- allows parent to discuss concerns regarding the child's development, nutrition, mental health, and physical health

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that you may be concerned about coming into our offices. To accommodate our families, we will offer telemedicine visits through this pandemic only.

We are still continuing to see both sick and well children in our offices for in person visits. We have designated well visit hours to decrease your risk of exposure. Staying current with your child’s well child visits and vaccines is very important and should not be delayed. With “Stay in Place” in effect, we at Bottenfield Pediatric Associates want to remind you that we are still providing care for our patients.  

It continues to be very important that infants and children stay current with their immunization schedule.  

We continue to encourage timely well child visits. We have structured our offices and appointments to provide separation of well and sick children. Patient wait time is minimal.

As long as we are able Bottenfield Pediatric Associates will continue to provide care for our patients. We will continue to see well check-ups and provide care for sick patients. It is very important for newborns to have their first visits within the first week of age. Vaccine schedules should continue to be followed for all infants and children.

Both of our offices continue to be open and we are doing everything possible to provide a safe environment for your visits. Well children will not be exposed to sick children. Wait time in the waiting rooms will be minimal and safe distancing will be maintained.

All visits will be by appointment only. All patients and caretakers will be screened appropriately prior to an appointment. There will be no walk-in visits. 

We are aware of your concerns and are paying close attention to recommendations from the authorities. 

We believe providing necessary acute and preventive care is very important and BPA is diligently working to provide the best of care for our children and families.

At Bottenfield Pediatric Associates, we are making every effort to keep our patients, their families and our staff healthy. In light of the COVID-19 virus, we will be modifying our daily office procedures in order to minimize the risk of exposure.

We will be implementing the following changes:
• No walk-in sick visits
• No walk-in immunizations
• Contact us for any paperwork we will assist you at your vehicle.  
• Please only 1 HEALTHY ADULT accompany child to an office visit.

As of March 18, 2020, we will modify our appointment schedules. Please call to make appointment. If we can safely assess your child, we may be able to treat them without an appointment. 

As we continue to monitor COVID-19 we may adjust the schedule as needed. 

We will make every effort to limit wait time in the lobby.

We are taking COVID-19 seriously. We are following CDC and local guidelines. We will continue to make every effort to provide the safest and best care for our patients and families.
